Normally, I won't update the blog quite so often, but I wanted to to let everyone know that I added a sub-folder to the "Blog" link on the webpage that includes all class materials and documents. I will still post relevant documents with each entry, so that you don't have to hunt for them, but I will archive all documents inside the sub-folder as well. I want to make sure everyone knows what is happening in core!
Today, we read Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s "Harrison Bergeron," and used a variety of questions to support our thinking, writing, and our class discussion about the differences between equality and fairness. Check it out--both the story and questions to consider can be found in this blog post and also in the archive.
Everyone have a great weekend! Students, think about how to you want to capture yourself in your Annotated Self-Portrait!
